This is the cover and a series of spreads from the book that I created and self-published ss a senior thesis project. The book is 78 pages, 8x8 perfect bound with CMYK color. It incorporated my design, illustration, photography, and philosophy.

This poster is a visual map of influential thinkers. The horizontal axis of the grid is different parts of the world and the vertical is a timeline. Names are placed according to time, period, and country of origin. The blocks of color surrounding the names relate to different philosophical movements. These movements are explained by the text on the side and allow the viewer a visual map of how people and movements influenced each other. This poster relates to the movie "Sliding Doors" in which the main character, Helen, is shown in two alternate lives. Her lifeline (the red horizontal line) is broken into two scenarios depending on her making a train or not. Each scene is outlined in a grey box, and corresponding scenes occur in both lives. Other characters involved in both lives include her boyfriend (green line), a man she meets on the train (blue line), and her friend (purple line).
